Who We Are

We are a small business owned and operated by a former federal agent based in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. We use knowledge gained from working with at-risk youth, teaching, law enforcement interviewing at the highest level, and corporate investigation experience to provide high quality interview training for law enforcement agencies and businesses. We are also equipped to meet other investigative needs by providing valuable guidance as needed.

Our Approach

  • We focus on skill building and concepts. Most likely you’ve utilized some standard methods in your interviews. These methods provide a framework, but sometimes don’t teach you the concepts behind the methods or how to hone your skills to be more effective in your delivery. Becoming a better interviewer is about constantly learning and improving communication skills and understanding the concepts behind the methods you use, no matter what your level of experience.

  • We teach you to adapt your approach. Use the perspective and behavior of the person you are communicating with to better craft your game plan, and fine tune your delivery. Success is obtaining the truth from the person in front of you; whether they are a suspect in a crime, a witness to some inappropriate behavior of a supervisor, or even a direct report you need to deliver performance feedback to. We use decades of experience speaking with many types of people in many situations to teach you how to build understanding of an interview subject and capitalize on your observations to deliver a powerful customized approach.

  • We teach you to build trust, not just rapport. Trust is incredibly important during difficult communications. It is built with a consistent approach, and can be lost in an instant. Although people may converse with others they have rapport with, they confide in others they trust.
